We are currently working on having useful information to help you on your audio or video productions. It helps when you can submit the information that you would like to know. If we need to, we will take time to run a trial and error before your having to go out to purchase any expensive equipment.
We recently had an email with this question: HOW CAN WE CAPTURE AUDIO FOR OUR VIDEO WITHOUT HAVING TO KEEP OUR CAMCORDER NEAR THE SOUND SYSTEM?
As our first learning experience in audio engineering, we ran a trial and error and came up with this conclusion.
If you go out and purchase a voice recorder, and an adapter, you can connect that to any sound system using a headphone out, aux, or secondary main out. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR LEVELS ON YOUR VOICE RECORDER, BEFORE GOING TO RECORD ON YOUR CAMCORDER. Let your camcorder record the audo as well, this will be useful on your next step.
Once you have completed your recording now you can record both your audio from your voice recorder and your video with audio to your computer. Now just sync the audio with the video's audio that was recorded from your camcorder using a video editing software. Once you have both audio's recorded and in sync, you can now delete the audio that was coming from your camcorder, and use the audio that was recorded from you voice recorder. Some minor tweeking may be needed unless you have a good engineer running sound.

We are currently working with Xtreme Impact Church to have a 24 hour video live stream to broadcast church services, and other information.
